As for animals, there isn't much space, although with chickens and goats there is some space. The goats need to be small because they require less space than full size goats. Three Nigerian Dwarf goats is about equal to a large standard goat. Combined, they produce about the same amount of milk as their larger relatives. And because goats are herd animals, there always needs to be at least 2. Three will serve me nicely. Chickens can live with the goats as long as they have a separate space for food, laying eggs and roosting. I'm thinking of having a building that, is tall enough, to have the chickens in a small coop above the goats, where the goats can't get to. I may put a 8'x10' shed to house the goats and chickens.
